In our main task intro with have to represent a group of young football hooligans, the stereo typical look of football hooligans in England is Adidas trainers and expensive clothing such as Stone Island, Ralph Lauren and Fred Perry. They wear this type of clothing to better and more powerful than the firm they are fighting. Costume is the main focus throughout this sub genre of film so would be our main priority in the intro
Another way we will represent them in our intro is by the way they talk, they're usually known for being white, young to middle aged, working class men. Our piece involves Chelsea fans from West London and Liverpool fans from Merseyside so we will have two different stereo typically accents, Scouse and Cockney, this will emphasis where each of the firms are from and how they communicate with each other and to their opposites. Usually both sides would mock each others accent to seem like they're from a better area of the country than the other.
A final way to represent the groups would be how they walk and where they are walking through such as run down urban areas. For example you wouldn't expect to see the group walking slowly through a park as this wouldn't be associated with young football fans interested in football violence. However you would expect to see them walking with a purpose through an urban or metropolitan area and trying to keep there heads down and go by unnoticed. The reason you may expect to see them in this kind of area is because they are usually represented as middle class men and this is an are that would be associated to that level of class.
We analysed the intro to football factory to help with our representation
